City Hall Wins National, Local Awards

"A staggering work of preservation and historical accuracy" said K. Nam Shiu, PE, SE, VP at Walker Restoration Consultants and a Reconstruction Awards Judge. Shiu called City Hall a "handmade building, and it's so very difficult to be that true to the original design intent, down to every building material used."
So far the restoration has garnered Engberg Anderson the following awards:
- AIA Wisconsin Design Award, Special Recognition, 2010
- American Public Works Association, Project of the Year - Historical Restoration/Preservation $25 million - $75 million, 2010
- Wisconsin Public Works Project of the Year, 2009
- Building Design+Construction 2009 Reconstruction + Renovation Award, Platinum Award
- McGraw-Hill Construction, National Best of the Best Awards 2009, Renovation/Restoration Category
- Midwest Construction Best of 2009, Project of the Year in the Renovation / Restoration Category
- WCREW 9th Annual Showcase Awards, Impact Award: Judge’s Choice
- Wisconsin Builder/Daily Reporter Top Project of 2008
