Fitchburg Public Library LEEDŽ Gold Certified and Award Winner
Congratulations to the City of Fitchburg, the staff of the Fitchburg Public Library and the EA design team!
Careful consideration was given to minimizing the operational costs of this public facility through the incorporation of sustainable energy solutions that include, among many others, geothermal heating and cooling, LED lighting, lighting and sensor controls and use of native landscaping not requiring irrigation.
The library has also just been named Project of the Year 2012 by the American Public Works Association and Top Project 2011 by the Daily Reporter.
