Milwaukee’s newest downtown neighborhood overlooks the Milwaukee River at the former industrial site of the Pfister & Vogel Tannery. Adjacent to the former Park East freeway, this $15.5 million mixed use building features 97,470 sf of residential space comprised of 83 residential units. A clubroom with attached media room opens onto 15,000 sf of green roof, including a portion dedicated to private walk-out resident patios. An on-site fitness room, attached to the lobby, gives the feel of a hip, urban hotel. The development includes 174 heated, enclosed parking spaces and 12,700 sf of ground floor retail. .
One at North End is the first phase of this planned showcase for green and sustainable development. It is has been selected by the U.S. Green Building Council® to be one of the first pilot projects in the nation to integrate the principles of smart growth, new urbanism and green building for LEED-ND® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Neighborhood Development) certification. The entire development is expected to take five to seven years to build out.
